First Documented Smile

Oliver has been smiling since around 6 weeks, and they are becoming more and more frequent and sometimes with a little giggle.  I just can not get enough of him, he is so adorable.  He is 2 months old this week, and I just can't believe it.   He is such a good baby.   He has been sleeping through the night since about 6 weeks.  I keep telling myself it is a fluke and one of these days he is going to go back to getting up 3 times a night, but it hasn't happened yet.  He is going in for his 2 month appt this week so I will post his stats after that.  I am kind of dreading it since he is getting his immunizations.  Oh well I think two days of a sad baby is better than a lifetime with polio.

Jonathan actually did pretty good with his shots. No side effects, just a lot of screaming for about half an hour and then a really long nap. Hope the appt goes well!

aren't smiles the best - and it's even funnier to see what parents will do to get a smile or a laugh our of their kid! :) your little guy is adorable, who do you think he looks like? a good mix!

So sweet! I cant believe he's that old already. Addie started smiling at 6 weeks too and it was too much fun.
Dont stress about shots too much- addie didnt have any side effects from them at all. She didnt even cry when she got poked.
Sam's starting the interview process with apple and it's the top of his "giddy to work there" list- so here's hoping! Other than that we're looking at google (who he just heard back from that they're going to go through the recruiting process with him), ernst and young in seattle, a small firm called stockamp and associates in portland, and exxon is still on our list.

Ok, he is ADORABLE. And I thought Tyler was a cute baby! Don't worry about shots...give him some infant Tylenol just before you leave for the appt, a nap afterward, and he'll be right as rain by the next day. As for sleeping through the nights, you're the luckiest woman in the world! (But be prepared...they revert to craziness at about 4 months and again at about 9 months for a few weeks. Don't be surprised. It'll be over before you know it.) Please give him a big hug for Tyler and Mikayla!!!

Very sweet! And dont let anyone tell you that his precious smiles are 'just gas'. I always hated that so much.
