Lets Be Honest

I was talking to a friend the other day about how perfect peoples lives seem on their blogs. Kids are cute and happy, houses are clean, fun is being had etc. I can totally see how it happens, we only blog about the noteworthy events and moments that happen in our lives. Well I'm going to try something different today, because today is one of those days I would NEVER blog about.
Here is my house RIGHT now:

Here is my baby RIGHT now:
And yesterday:
And the day before:
I would take a picture of me right now at 1:04 pm, not showered, greasy hair, unshaven legs, dirty shirt, but I will spare you (and me the embarrassment). So there you have it. Not everyday in my life is fun, and totally awesome, but I still love it!

This is probably the best blog post I've read in a really long time - because it's REAL LIFE. :)
You're great!

Ha! I know how that is, we have those days a lot too. I guess I don't really go out of my way to record these kind of days much either. And your house doesn't look all that bad, besides it looked like you were busy in the kitchen so at least you got something accomplished for the day. :)

Your house looks cleaner than mine! It shows that you have better things to do (Oliver) than clean your house all day. Good for you!

Those pictures are totally representative of my LIFE! I swear sometimes I think I need a life coach to come rescue my mess of a life. But I think some of that...more like most of that comes from having children and putting them FIRST. Good for you, your a good mom.

Thanks Gin! That's how my apt looks 90% of the time and that's why I don't ever post pictures. Ha ha. But that's how babies are, aren't they? Crying for something. But he is still super cute!

Did you get a new rug? If so I like it. And no matter how much he cries he is still the cutest little guy ever.

Ahh, I loved this post. It's so true. I think I'll be doing one of these soon. Ollie is so dang adorable. I can't believe how much he's moving. Tave needs some help. Seriously. Love your camping trip pics too. What a cute family you are!
