Good News!! Apple officially offered Jason a job when he graduates next year. Jason is very modest about it but the recruiter said that they were VERY impressed with him and feel he has a lot of potential. She said they really want him back and tried to draw up an offer he couldn't refuse. It is a very good offer but the cost of living is so high out there he may try to negotiate a few points. I am so happy for him, he really was starting to like his job and was very sad to leave. It is also good to know we have options. Good options. He will continue to pursue the FBI, but for now we are happy to know something great is waiting when we graduate. Congratulations Jason!!!!
In other news, Jason used his birthday money to buy a really nice road bike, something he has been wanting for a long time. This morning at 6:30am he went for his first group ride and he loved it. He rode over 40 miles and even though he doesn't have clipless pedals or full spandex he is loving the new bike. I am happy for him, although it would have made a lot more sense for him to get the bike at the beginning of summer since he biked to Apple every day this summer on a full suspension mountain bike. Now of course he is trying to get me into the biking thing, stay tuned to see how that turns out.

Congrats to you both. That is seriously so awesome, but we wouldn't expect anything less than that from Jason--you rock! We had sooooo much fun seeing you guys some this summer and will miss you dearly. We are crossing our fingers you end up close by somehow. Good luck with the new school year!
i love bike riding; i just wish it were easier with kids. (we have a child carrier, but cant really go up in the mountains or anything with it. I dont know anything about bikes but it looks like a pretty nice one! You know how Rusty has really gotten into mountain biking, well I told him he just can't ever wear the spandex... I'm not really a fan of those. :)

Awesome bike as well. I went on a ride tonight...got a flat 3 miles in and had to have Sam bring my running shoes to me. Ginny...you must get a bike!
SO neat bike and all, but JASON OMG! That is truly way cool! We are so happy for you and what a fabulous company to work for! I am jealous of your certain stability after college with which ever road you choose to pursue! Killing bad guys or computer nerd...both incredible! We love you so much!
Yay! I'm so glad you found our blog and now we can read yours too. We love our new place, but will miss you guys at oxford square. We're at 300 E 300 S now, so not too far away. We'll need to get together soon.
