So lots of people know already but I guess it isn't really official until it is on the blog. Jason and I are expecting our first baby!! I went in for my first doctors appointment today, and I am 8 weeks along, and the due date is July 30th. This is seriously going to be the longest pregnancy since we found out pretty early, but we are so excited. I have been very nausea since about the 6th week. It is not fun but I am glad to have symptoms, it makes me feel like everything is progressing well. We probably should have waited until I was a little further along to tell everyone but we are just so excited. I will keep the blog updated with pictures along the way. And I would love advice from all you mothers out there, I'm sure going to need it.

Yay yay yay! I'm happy you got to do your official announcement. I'm so incredibly excited for you guys! You're actually exactly one trimester behind me.
First things first, get a good baby book. I think "What to expect when you're expecting" is rather poorly organized and lame, I recommend:
"Your Pregnancy Week by Week" Fifth Edition by Glade B. Curtis
or my personal favorite:
"Pregnancy: The Ultimate Week-by-Week Pregnancy Guide" by Laura Riley M.D. OB/GYN

YEAH! A little Miller baby! We are so excited for you - and sadly we felt we have had the longest pregnancy because we found out so early too! BUT...the symptoms will pass (hopefully) and you will be such a darling pregnant lady! CONGRATS!
Oh man, i didn't know you were feeling sick lately. That totally stinks. Hopefully it will ease up over the next few weeks especially with you being in school, that's got to be hard. Good luck & have fun in CA & Hawaii!

Ok, I guess it is official since you have posted on the blog about it! I think you already know how excited we are for you both! I am sorry you are having some of the yucky symptoms, the second trimester I felt a ton better, that is why I weighed a ton :)! Have you gotten the books yet? Anywho congrats, we cant wait for him to get here (that is my guess by the way)!

AHHHHHH!!! I'm soooo excited for you guys. My mom always told me that at least when you're sick, you know you're still prego. Still didn't help when I was hugging the toilet all day long :( Man I'm excited to see what it will look like already!! This will be a long pregnancy for me too with all this anticipation!!
oh and btw I read what to expect when expecting and Joe swears that it put ideas into my head. Like I read that you get really bad headaches during the weeks in the 20s and Joe thought reading that suddenly gave me headaches; same with heartburn and every other symptom I had. I should have punched him now that I think about it....
And forewarn Jason that you will get VERY moody. I almost threw Joe's Xbox out our door and smashed it into pieces in Oxford parking lot because I was mad he was playing it instead of sleeping. But I guess not everyone gets as crazy as I did........

CONGRATS!!! Babies are the best! Be sure to enjoy the pregnancy (and the last months of "just the two of you")--after the sickness goes away that is. :)

Very exciting! Olivia just told me yesterday. There is a good baby website that gives you week by week updates on your baby's development. I found it interesting and helpful while I was pregnant. www.babycenter.com

Congrats, you two! Oh, and as for "mommy advice?" NEVER EVER ask for mommy-advice, because us mommies NEVER SHUT UT. :) But advice for the mommy-to-be...vitamin B6 combined with HALF a GENERIC Unisom works wonders (unless you're like me and need major drugs later on). Hope you're feeling better soon! We're so excited for you guys! (And happy almost-graduation!!!)

CONGRATS!! I don't check often, so I just found out!!! You are going to be the best mom! I can't wait to see a pic of cute little pregnant belly shots. You will be so cute! Hawaii looked amazing. I want to be like you guys when I grow up. haha. all that travel looks so fun!!!! Good job getting it all in before kiddos. :)
