We had a really busy weekend. Friday evening we headed up to Kaysville and spent the night with our friends Ben and Stacy. We had to be in Salt Lake early Saturday morning so they were kind enough to let us stay with them in their new house. It was really great to see them, we love hanging out with them. Saturday morning we were able to attend our friend Brady's wedding. It was really nice to be there and see some of our California friends. Unfortunetly we weren't able to stay for the luncheon and reception because we had to be up in Idaho for Jason's Grandma's 80th birthday party. So we left right after the wedding and headed to Idaho. The birthday party was so nice and we got to see most of Jason's family. Sunday morning Jason's brother Mike spoke at church and did an excellent job. After church Jason's grandparents had a big lunch with lots more family. It was snowing really bad so we headed home right after lunch. So now we are home trying to wind down from our busy weekend.

Happy Valentines Day
I love Valentines Day! I think it is really fun to celebrate love. This year Jason had me schedule his sister Jenny to be my patient and he had her bring me two dozen roses to school, they were so beautiful and needless to say made my day. Then tonight he made me dinner. It was REALLY good. I am really lucky to have such a sweet husband. I hope everyone had a very happy Valentines Day!!!
These are the beautiful roses Jason got me!!
I was one happy girl, I love flowers!
I got Jason a gift certificate for a massage.
Jason made me one of my favorite dinners.
Salmon, wild rice and asparagus.

Spontaneous Trip To California
This weekend we took a spontaneous (for us) trip to California. Jason's brother Michael got home from a mission in Ecuador on Tuesday. We weren't planning on going home because of school, but this week my Friday class was cancelled and we found out a friend of ours was driving out there. They were leaving a little later than we wanted so on Tuesday I got us one way tickets leaving Thursday afternoon. (Sidenote: We flew Jet Blue for the first time and had a wonderful experience, I would highly recommend it). We drove back with Casey and Matt on Sunday. We didn't tell our families we were coming so it was a total suprise. It was awesome, I thought my mom was going to have a heart attack. It was a really nice weekend and it was great to see Mike again.
